There are two avenues to apply for enrolment.

Apply for​ general enrolment​

If you reside in Park Ridge State High School local catchment area, then this is your main avenue to enrol, unless you are applying for one of our Programs of Excellence (see below). The interactive map will show you where your nearest high school is located.

Once you have filled out our online form, you will be contacted by one of our staff to outline the next steps in the process. You will need to supply the following:

  • Completed application for enrolment (given by our staff).

  • Copy of birth certificate (Original must be sighted by school staff at an enrolment interview).

  • Report cards – Latest two semesters.

  • Copies of proof of residency* (we may need to verify these documents).

    1. One primary source – a current lease agreement, rates notice, or unconditional contract of sale, and

    2. One secondary source – a utility bill (e.g. electricity, gas) showing this same address and parent’s/legal guardian’s name.

  • Visa/Passport (if applicable).

  • Custody papers/ Court orders/ Learning disability details (if applicable).

Apply for​ an Excellence Program​

Park Ridge State High School operates three programs of excellence. Any prospective student is able to apply for a Program of Excellence. Positions will go to merit.

There are a limited number positions available for out-of-catchment students across our 3 Programs of Excellence. If you wish to apply for a position in a program of excellence please read the program notes and apply online.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
