A wellbeing incursion has been planned for our Year 10 students with the highly regarded Brainstorm Productions group. This presentation is focused on mental health and emotional wellbeing as a part of the school’s commitment to student health.
Nature of Incursion:
Wired is Educational theatre that addresses student mental health and emotional wellbeing, including the physiology, causes and effects of stress, anxiety and depression.
Two adolescents with extremes of behaviour, metabolism, hormones, goals and perspectives are spiralling out of control in different directions - one into stress and overload, the other into depression.
When their lives collide, they are forced to change course. The audience has the opportunity to see the characters play out an alternative path towards greater resilience and mental wellbeing.
With a sophisticated script and contemporary music, Wired instantly engages even the most cynical audience to enhance mental health awareness in schools.
Wired student wellbeing program covers:
- Goal Setting
