These labs are equipped with the latest hardware and software to ensure students can engage with contemporary digital workflows, collaborate effectively, and develop skills essential for the 21st century.
Immersive Learning in Our VR Lab
Park Ridge State High School is proud to offer a dedicated Virtual Reality (VR) Lab equipped with four VR stations, providing students with cutting-edge, immersive educational experiences.
Our VR Lab allows students to explore interactive simulations, virtual environments, and 3D models that directly align with the curriculum, enhancing understanding in subjects such as science, history, digital design, and technology.
By combining hands-on learning with virtual exploration, students can:
Visualise complex concepts in 3D
Conduct virtual experiments safely
Engage in interactive storytelling and historical recreations
Collaborate on digital projects in immersive environments
The VR Lab is part of our commitment to 21st century learning, equipping students with the skills, creativity, and digital literacy needed for future study and the evolving workforce.
Electronics Hub
Park Ridge State High School is developing an immersive learning centre to bridge the gap between education and industry.
Young entrepreneurs will be exposed to a 'digital disruptors' curriculum as they forge connections with business and other education providers in the area.
Focused around themes of Sustainability, Manufacturing and Defence, here thinking outside the box is the norm and students are challenged to think big and build bigger.
Each 'disrupter' is incorporating 2st century skills in their learning, making them enjoyable across any industry.
