Park Ridge SHS provides both minimum (limited functionality) and recommended hardware requirements for BYOD. Specifications are for general study. More details can be found in the BYOD Buying Guide.
Parents are strongly advised to purchase a protective case, extended warranty and Accidental Damage Protection (ADP).

Refurbished devices are a good alternative to a brand new device and can be a cheaper option, keep in mind you get what you pay for and a refurbished device may not last long. Hire & scholarship options
Buying a new laptop can be done with a 12-month payment plan in most cases. However, if you are in financial difficulty Park Ridge SHS has
limited hire options available.
Families in extreme financial hardship may be able to apply for a scholarship loan device.
